Navigation algorithm validation software package

This includes four generalized simulators written in Compaq Visual Fortran to validate the navigation system software. Each simulator is designed to produce a different type of motion such that all pieces of the navigation software are activated after running all four simulators. The output from each simulator is raw angular rate and acceleration data that would be used as input to the software that is being validated, along with the corresponding truth outputs, such that the truth can be compared against the navigation software results. Generalized Strapdown Inertial Navigation Software Package

The package consists of source code routines that represent the attitude initialization, navigation, and integrated zero velocity update Kalman Filter equations described in the INS Software Design and Validation Document. Generalized covariance analysis program

This is the actual software that the Covariance Simulation Software Design Document describes, written in Compaq Visual Fortran. Note that the Covariance Simulation Software Design Document is included as a deliverable with the software. Please contact ASA for pricing.

Strapdown profile generator software package

This is sold as an executable with necessary interface software provided as object code. This software is used to interface with the covariance analysis program, or the actual full navigation system software. It provides raw angular rate and acceleration data, along with truth attitude, velocity, and position, for a user defined trajectory. The executable allows the user to define complicated trajectories very easily based on a variety of trajectory segment definitions. The output of the trajectory generator is used to drive the covariance analysis program, or the actual navigation system software. This deliverable also includes a user manual.
